So Gretta and Eva went to get their haircuts today. See if you can tell who like their haircut better ...
Anyway what was supposed to be a fun mommy daughter date turned into:
"Sob sob ... I don't like short haaaiiiir ... sob sob ... I just want princess haaaaiiiir ... sob sob"
After an afternoon of complementing Eva on her hair, she is finally starting to get used to it and isn't sad anymore.
P.S. - please write Disney and tell them we need more short haired princesses.

Hi Gretta! I saw your blog link on your facebook page and thought I'd check it out! So fun!
I love the haircut pics! Both of you girls look really cute with short hair! Hopefully Eva will come to love it! :) I loved the note to Disney...very good point! Never thought about that! :)
Feel free to check out our blog! :)

That is too funny. Gretta, you and Eva both look SO cute!! I'm glad Eva is feeling better about her hair. Girls are so funny:)
Your comment on writing a letter to Disney about their princess characters reminded me of an article I read for one of my classes at school. It's called Ariel Anonymous and it discusses all of the crazy, sexist, and unrealistic images that Disney movie characters portray...such as their long hair, perfect bodies, they don't need to work, none of them have mothers, etc, etc. It was kind of funny...I made a comment in class that I agreed with the author and think they need to make some changes in their movies and this one girl totally flipped out. She was so mad about my comment. It was funny:)
Anyway...I love your new hair cuts...very cute!!
Look at you hot mama! I love it.
Don't worry, give her about 2 years and she won't give princesses another thought!
Brynn was a little sad when we cut her hair off too, but then she got so many comments that now she loves it. I think short hair is so cute on little girls!
I think you should give her a buzz and then say, "how do you like short hair now?"
Am I funny or what? Ok I'm a moron.
Gretta I love the new hair, you are looking fab--like always. And Eva looks pretty cute too.
