Backyards are fun

Thank you economic stimulus package! What do you do with a cool grand from Uncle Sam? We decided we'd work on our backyard (it's really more of a sand box with the occasional rusty nail). So we first decided to put in a patio.

We're living the dream now. BBQ three times a week. We also put in a little play area for the girls. We got some rubber bark from Lowe's. If you're not familiar with rubber bark; it is made from recycled tires and works really well. It doesn't fade, insects don't like it, it doesn't get hot in the sun, and it doesn't float away. We highly recommend it.

After all our hard work our backyard looked so awesome that this turtle stopped by to check it out. Eva found this little guy in the backyard. She said "A TURTLE!! A TURTLE!!" and Gretta and Nate were like "Yeah right Eva". But sure enough there he was. Actually the backyard is probably only 1/3 of the way done. $1000 only goes so far. So here's hoping for more recession next year and another check from the government.

Looks good guys! Nate, where's your mustache? We miss you guys. Are you going to be in Utah anytime this summer?

Oh, and as far as the broken canister's as a white elephant gift...we already thought of that:)

I think my testimony of mustaches is a little weak. We're going to be in Utah from Jun 26 - Jul 4th
